NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COUNCIL (NTC) is the body delegated by Higher Education Commission (HEC). To raise education standards of the technology programs, NTC has undertaken a major exercise to develop curriculum for engineering technology programs based on OBE. In this regard National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) Final Meeting in Petroleum and Gas Engineering Technology (BSc) was held in University of Technology Nowshera from 23rd to 25th November 2022. The Chairman National Technology Council Engr. Imtiaz Hussain Gilani was also present in the opening ceremony. The participants included Dr Nasir Khan (University of Chakwal), Prof. Dr Amir Sultan (Prof. UET, Taxila), Dr Ubedullah Ansari (Asst. Prof. MUET, Jamshoro), Prof. Dr Asadullah (Prof. BUITEMS, Quetta), Prof. Dr Abdul Aziz Mazhar (Former Dean, IST, Islamabad), Prof. Dr Saeed Gul (Prof. UET, Peshawar), Dr Tazien Rashid (GCU, Faisalabad), Prof. Dr Shahab Khushnood (Professor, University of Wah, Wah Cantt), Dr. K. Shahzad Baig (University of Wah, Wah Cantt, Dr Asif Nadeem Tabish (Associate Professor, UET, Lahore). In this meeting the preliminary draft of the first meeting will be finalized and soon be shared online for the facilitation of the institutes and streamlining the mentioned technology programs.
The chairman NTC along Vice Chancellor Prof. Zaffar Muhammad Khan visited different facilities available at the university and praises the efforts made like one-window-service, ORIC, Exam section and laboratories of the University.
