On June 13, 2018, the Secured Future Grids Lab (SFGL) has been approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Planning Commission of Pakistan under the Nation Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS). The goal of the “SFGL” lab is to develop a national key infrastructure experimental facility that will support the future R&D, develop key technologies (both power and ICT networks) and control software security algorithms for the automated future grid industry of Pakistan. The SFGL lab will be established in several phases. The phase 1 of the SFGL lab is shown in the figure given below.
