“One day Workshop on OBE Rubrics based Assessment” on Monday 27th May 2024

QEC UoT Nowshera arranged a workshop on OBE Rubrics based Assessment on Monday 27th May 2024 in UoT conference room. Dr. Muhammad Imran, Associate Professor and HoD Department of Electrical Engineering MCS NUST was the resource person. Director QEC, Dr. Naveed Jan welcomed the resource person. The QEC team and faculty members from all the departments attended the workshop.

The event was divided into two distinct sessions. The first session primarily focused on how to carry out OBE based assessments and the different types of Lab rubrics required for it. While the second session placed its main emphasis on providing hands-on training for the faculty in the preparation and use of the different lab rubrics.

During the workshop, faculty members were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills pertaining to Rubrics assessments and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) practices, particularly in relation to Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) assessment cycles. The entire workshop was characterized by its informative and interactive nature, resulting in an enhanced level of knowledge and proficiency among the participating faculty members.
