In the modern world, almost every region has adopted “the knowledge based economy” slogan . The knowledge based economy addresses how the education and knowledge, typically called “human capital”, can serve as a productive asset or a business product. The innovative services and products can be sold out and exported to yield profits for the individuals, the businesses and the economy. This component of the economy relies greatly on intellectual capabilities instead of natural resources or physical contributions. In the knowledge economy, products and services that are based on intellectual expertise advance technical and scientific fields encouraging innovation in the economy as a whole. Forgoing in view, University of Technology Nowshera is the First Technology University established in the KP province of Pakistan. Currently the University of Technology Nowshera (UoT) is operational in a rented building at Amangarh, district Nowshera. UoT Nowshera currently offers six bachelor programs including, B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Tec hnology , Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Information Engineering Technology, and Energy Engineering Technology. The University plans to start new programs such as MS programs in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in the near future. University of Technology Nowshera has attracted the best faculty with strong theoretical and industrial backgrounds. UoT is a catalyst and game-changer, where students are professionally trained with cutting-edge technology on state-of-the-art machines, to acquire skills that industry needs to boost Pakistan’s economic.
